Portugal has changed. The people choosing it have changed. The infrastructure has not kept up.
The families arriving on the corridor are founders, investors, and executives. They have children in international schools. They are running companies, managing assets, building careers. They need real connections to make this country work for them.
On the other side, Portuguese entrepreneurs and business leaders see the wave of international arrivals as opportunity. The network. The perspective. The commercial relationships. They want access to that world, and that world wants access to them.
Both communities exist. They just have nowhere to meet.
That is what The Epoch is.
THE 50/50
Membership is deliberately split. Half international, half Portuguese. Not as a policy, as a design principle. The value of The Epoch comes from what happens when both communities are in the same room.
THE CORRIDOR
The Cascais corridor is where this is happening. The schools, the sea, the proximity to Lisbon, the international investment. This is where the community is concentrating. Estoril is at the heart of it, and so are we.
